Headwaters Counseling’s Employee Assistance Program is a voluntary work-based program, designed to help employees navigate personal and work-related problems. The program includes an established number of sessions, determined by the employer. These sessions will be used to complete an assessment, make referrals if needed, or address the problems through the counseling process. 

In addition to employee counseling sessions, our team also provides training and education in a number of areas to help improve the resources available to the workforce. Our crisis-trained therapists are also available to assist with situations that may arise in the workplace involving traumatic events that impact employees.

Counseling Qualifications 

Headwaters programs are nationally and internationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Additionally, we are certified by the Indiana Department of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA). Our team of direct service providers are Masters and PhD-level therapists. Many of our service providers have dual licenses to help better serve our clients. 

Our counseling center is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-profit agency. Part of our mission is to offer services to clients who may not otherwise be able to afford them. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, HIP, and all private insurances. For those who are not insured, we offer a fee based on household size and income.
