Substance Abuse

Counseling

Our programs assist people with the development of a new life by helping them take responsibility and make necessary changes in their thinking and behavior.

Substance Abuse Counseling Program

Headwaters Counseling offers an outpatient substance abuse counseling program, tailored to meet the individual’s needs. Both individual counseling and group counseling sessions are available, with group sessions in the morning and evenings. For those who have completed a substance abuse program and know they have a problem we offer a Relapse Prevention

group as well.

Our programs are designed to help people get the treatment they need while improving their quality of life. All clients will go through an initial assessment to determine the appropriate level and treatment type they will receive. After going through the initial assessment, clients will then enter a 20 to 72 hours program. This is a minimum ten-week program that meets one to three times each week as a group.
